About Dr. Brian Dening, DVM

Dr. Brian Dening is a 2001 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine and has practiced in New Hampshire since 2004. After serving as Medical Director at Merrimack Veterinary Hospital for 12 years, he has now focused his practice on advanced dentistry — shifting the conversation from extraction to preservation.

Since 2018, he has treated dental referrals from more than 130 hospitals across New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine, and Massachusetts. New Hampshire Veterinary Dentistry brings that advanced veterinary dental expertise to your hospital — following the same model used by mobile surgery practices for decades.

How It Works

Mobile dentistry follows the same trusted model as mobile surgery. Your hospital remains the patient's medical home — we bring the advanced dental capability.

Step 01

Request a Referral

You or your client requests a referral by phone or through our online form. We send your hospital a secure upload link for records and dental radiographs.

Step 02

Review & Schedule

We review the records, prepare a preliminary estimate, and schedule the procedure at your hospital. Virtual consultations are available before scheduling.

Step 03

We Come to You

Dr. Dening arrives with all equipment and a dental technician. Your team manages anesthesia, pain medications, and recovery. We perform the procedure and provide complete discharge documentation.

Services

Advanced dental procedures focused on saving teeth, not just removing them. Each service follows current best practices for veterinary dental care.

Endodontic Therapy

Root canals and vital pulp therapy to save fractured, discolored, or non-vital canines and chewing teeth.

Periodontal Surgery

Advanced periodontal treatment including bone grafting for deep pocketing on canines and lower molars.

Restorative Dentistry

Caries repair, crown reduction with vital pulpotomy, and tooth-preservation procedures.

Oral Surgery

Dentigerous cyst removal, oral mass consultation and biopsy, fracture repair, and complex extractions.

Interceptive Dentistry

Early intervention for puppies and kittens to prevent traumatic malocclusion and protect adult dentition.

Service Area

We serve veterinary hospitals within 60 miles of Exit 4, I-93 in Londonderry, New Hampshire. Our coverage extends north to Tilton, east to Dover and the Seacoast, and west to Hillsborough and Peterborough — with concentrated service along the I-93, Route 3, and Route 101 corridors.

For patients outside our travel radius, we partner with hospitals in Southern New Hampshire to provide care at a closer location. Travel fees may apply depending on distance and can be shared when multiple patients are seen at the same hospital.
