What Happens After You Refer

A coordinated hand-off, not a lost client.

  1. 01 You submit the referral with the patient's details and the reason for referral.
  2. 02 Dr. Dening reviews the case and follows up — usually within one business day — to confirm the plan and scheduling.
  3. 03 The procedure is performed at your hospital on a scheduled service day, with your team involved throughout.
  4. 04 The patient stays your client. Dr. Dening provides clinical notes for your records and is available for follow-up.
Helpful to Include

What helps Dr. Dening plan the case.

A referral can be submitted with the basics above. Anything you can add up front helps him assess the case and plan the service day accurately:

  • Reason for referral and the procedure you anticipate
  • Dental radiographs, if available
  • Recent records, bloodwork, or anesthesia notes
  • Patient weight and any anesthetic considerations
  • How soon the case should be seen
